SRINAGAR: A woman from central Kashmir’s Ganderbal was arrested for stealing gold ornaments from her sister’s household on Friday.
“Cops swiftly settled a burglary scenario involving the theft of gold ornaments from a home in Tawheed Chowk, Ganderbal. Kaiser Ahmad Waza documented that his sister-in-regulation, visiting as a guest, stole the ornaments from his room’s locker,” police reported
Police registered a case below FIR 64/2024 at police station Ganderbal and initiated an investigation. A police workforce apprehended the suspect at Harisingh Large Road, Srinagar.
The accused confessed to the crime, admitting to offering the stolen ornaments for money.
Law enforcement recovered Rs 1,85,500 in dollars and a scooty from the accused. The girl was arrested and is now in custody.
