SRINAGAR: Two fugitives, who have been evading arrest for over 3 decades, were being apprehended in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Saturday, officials mentioned.
A police spokesperson in a assertion reported, “Police Station Tangmarg arrested one of the absconders, Nazir Ahmad Ahanger, son of Ali Mohammad, a resident of Wahipora Tangmarg. Ahanger was concerned in a case submitted under FIR No. 58/1989 at PS Tangmarg.”
“Similarly, another absconder, Mohammad Ashraf Laya, son of Gh Rasool and a resident of Jamia Mohalla Baramulla, was arrested by a law enforcement workforce from Police Station Baramulla. Laya was included in a scenario registered below FIR No. 99/1999 at PS Baramulla,” police claimed.
“Warrant of arrest was issued by the Hon’ble Court of Baramulla & Sub Decide JMIC Tangmarg towards them respectively. They ended up evading their arrests because 1989 &1999 respectively. Both equally ended up manufactured in advance of the Hon’ble Court of Baramulla & JMIC Tangmarg,” reads the assertion.
