PUTNAM COUNTY, WV (WOWK) — The Putnam County Animal Shelter is reaching out to the community for help supporting its animals.
A release from the shelter stated that it is in need of immediate upgrades due to flooding as well as general wear and tear, including new flooring. To support its renovations, the shelter is launching an adoption/foster campaign for all animals, with a focus on dogs, by July 7.
“We are committed to providing the best possible care for our animals,” said Tiffany
DeBord, Director of the Putnam County Animal Shelter. “New flooring is crucial to ensuring
their comfort and well-being. We urge our community to support us during this time of
need and keep an eye on our Facebook page for adoption and fostering events that are
coming soon.”
Community members can help out by donating, volunteering or fostering during the renovation period.
