CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – The Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Charleston is getting a makeover.
After some rearranging of schedules due to inclement weather, the ReStore on Piedmont Road has a fresh, new look. The Basement Authority of West Virginia and Habitat for Humanity in Kanawha and Putnam counties teamed up Thursday to paint the exterior of the store.
“I believe opportunities like this are great, you know. Not only for ground mortgage companies, but potentially for everybody in the understanding that something happens, you know, when we give back to the community, we’ll receive. And the cycle just continues to go round and round,” said Bill Burgette, Ground Work Companies field inspector.
Volunteers were also welcome to help pretty the place up on the inside and out!
