CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – Downtown Charleston is in for some groundbreaking new developments.
The old CASCI building on Kanawha Boulevard and the former Macy’s at Charleston Town Center are both almost completely demolished and ready for their new projects to break ground.
The old CASCI building, which was originally a Sears and Roebuck is now just a pile of scrap metal. A new office building will be constructed in place of the Casci Building, and TC Energy is set to take over as tenants as soon as 2026.
